about
The tune for song is inspired by an 1859 music score by Louis Julien titled the 'Nepaulese Quadrille - composed on Indian melodies', particularly the third figure which reflects the Indian raga Pahari and Indian folk tunes in that raga. The song lyrics are new, written by Mahesh, about wanting to dance after the rain and after all the isolation from company and dancing we have had over the past couple of years.
